<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em>Back to the Table: A 60 Day Journey</em></strong></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify">There is no better time to be together with loved ones and sit down at the table than Thanksgiving. Pastor John R. Adolph of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and Bishop David L. Toups of the&nbsp;Diocese of Beaumont&nbsp;have collaborated to offer simple, scriptural devotions to help you reflect on the spirit of Thanksgiving to prepare for this incredible national holiday.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p>Jesus' most important meal was the Last Supper which is the beginning of the Eucharist. The very word itself means "thanksgiving." The Sunday following Thanksgiving this year is the Feast of Christ the King, a great time for us to return to the Table of the Lord and give thanks to our God for all the many blessings He has bestowed upon us, and to seek his assistance for the many needs of our homes and world.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Our prayer is that our collaboration in writing this little book continue to build up our local believing community.
