For time immemorial, enterprises have been managed in a disjointed structured manner with all the elements that constitute them operating more independently with ineffectively coordinated regard to the corporate goal of the entities. This trend energy the culture of inter-functional rivalry that has spelt doom to most organizations' survival, especially at the advent of economic liberalization and globalization.
