This capital picture shows excellent draughtsmanship, with an appreciation of fine color. A young Grecian maiden, exceedingly beautiful of face and form, leans against a marble balcony in wrapt contemplation of a ring. A brilliant red robe, hanging in graceful folds, is caught up by yellow bands.
