Resolution 61 (senate Joint Resolution 897) authorized the Commission to include in its study a review of the amount of land presently owned in North Carolina by aliens or foreign corporations, the short and long - term effects of such ownership on citizens of North Carolina, and any other pertinent matter the Legis lative Research Commission deems relevant to this area.
