Diversity of social, political, and cultural problems that modern Asian countries face encourages research intended to explain their sources and consequences. What is more, their multiformity means that such investigations must involve varied research approaches, appropriate for individual scientific disciplines. The articles included in this volume are an example of an analysis what takes into account many perspectives.
