Excerpt from Heraldry and Floral Forms as Used in Decoration<br><br>Decorators and designers of nearly every kind are certain at some time or other to come in contact with heraldic decoration or design, and though these chapters are not intended for a technical treatise, the specimens in the illustrations will no doubt lead some of my readers to dive deeper into this historically and artistically interesting subject.<br><br>To a large extent the study of heraldry is like learning a language, which, in one sense, it is.
