<p>First published in 1899, this collection of Wyandot folklore and legends was collected from the Iroquoian Indigenous peoples who are a union of tribes from the northern shore of Lake Ontario. The author, William Elsey Connelley, moved to Wyandotte County, Kansas, in 1880.</p>
