In the Palace and Gardens<br><br>This Magnificent Structure, 'was m'lglflall'y built by Cardinal Wolsey, who resided in it for some time with all the splendour of a prince: but some of his\ enemies haveing endeavoured to represent him to the king as too power full a subject, the Cardinal gave it tot Henry in exchange for his palace at Riehfno'nd: At present verylittle of the original building remains: for it has been much enlarged and 1mproved, par~ tichlarly by king William, and queen Mary, Who delighted much in the Sltua tion, and built the magnificent front fae~ ing the park. This edifice 1s encompassed in a semicircular form by the T,hames and were the whole properly improved, it would riot be exceeded by any palace in Europe.<br><br>In the back front of the Palace.
