<p> In 2005, my husband and I went to live in Bali - an island which is part of the thousands of islands which make up the country of Indonesia and has the largest population of Muslims in the world - approximately 250 million.&nbsp;Bali is the only island which is predominately Hindu with a population of about four and a half million people.</p><p><br></p><p> After being missionaries for about forty years, we felt that God had called us to Bali to tell the precious Hindus about Jesus Christ.&nbsp;With the help of a young Indonesian couple, we started a church in the northern city of Singaraja.&nbsp;One day we visited a very poor mountain home.&nbsp;As we were leaving, the husband brought three beautiful little children to us and said, "Please take my children.&nbsp;I do not have money to provide food, clothing and schooling for them."&nbsp;We knew that Singaraja was the center of Bali for foreign pedophiles who took advantage of the poverty.&nbsp;The people were so poor that they would sell their children into the sex trafficking market.</p><p><br></p><p> God placed a burden in our broken hearts for an orphanage.&nbsp;We could not save all the children, but perhaps we could rescue some of them from the wickedness of the sex trafficking.</p><p><br></p><p> We had a dream, but God had a plan.&nbsp;God led in a miraculous way and supplied the money for us to buy two acres of land and build the <strong><em>Faith Children's Home</em></strong>.&nbsp;We have been able at this writing to save forty eight precious children.&nbsp;We provide a beautiful home, food, clothing, schooling and heaps of love to children who never had any of these things.&nbsp;They now have a future on this earth and an opportunity to have a home in Heaven.</p><p><br></p>
