Excerpt from Major-General Israel Putnam, Vol. 6: A Correspondence, on This Subject, With the Editor of the Hartford Daily Post<br><br>IT is with feelings of genuine pleasure that we are made aware that there is yet a little of patriotism left in this State of honorable Revolutionary history, and that the Spirit of justice and right has not quite all died out - as evinced by SO glowing an address as was delivered, a few evenings since, by the Hon. Henry C.
