He, likewise, conveys his love for the natural world with unambiguous affection &ndash; it isn&rsquo;t sentimental or trite but rather born from genuine respect for the earth&rsquo;s natural beauty.</p><p>There are serious moments laced throughout the work, but there are moments of real humor as well and Gaudette&rsquo;s affection for his hunting partners is an abiding theme throughout the entire book. Adventures and Confessions of a Hunter isn&rsquo;t a particularly lengthy work, it doesn&rsquo;t need to be, but is nonetheless packed with a wealth of humanity and descriptive excellence that makes it a volume well worth returning to over and over again. It will attract more than just fellow hunters &ndash; anyone interested in personal experiences honestly rendered will enjoy this work.</p>
