Throughout Dr. Javad's long, entangled and tragic battles with the courts, he has had to represent himself, learn the ropes of the legal profession, and continually be dismissed or mistreated due to his background and disability. Today, he continues fighting, both for himself, and to try to make public the discrimination he has faced, in the hope of forging a better system.
