<p>This study presents the findings from an investigation of the lived experiences of international students from sub-Saharan Africa in the United Kingdom. It demonstrates their reactions to immigration rules, the restrictive approaches to employment status, and how their legal consciousness is impacted by their precarious employment position.</p>
