<p>The main objective of this study is to attempt a redefinition of research agenda for the early Christian archaeology of Argyll (southwestern Scotland) by redefining our approach to the data both theoretically and methodologically. The following study of the church utilizes a &#39;tool kit&#39; of theoretical and methodological approaches that help to both quantify the amount of early Christian material available for study, and to qualify it within its landscape context.</p>
