<p>The sonnets presented in End Times explore the alienation of modern man from his creator, as foretold to occur before the Lord&rsquo;s glorious return to earth. With familiar subjects of everyday life, these poems describe with vivid imagery the tragedy of a society in which both God and natural law are denied, and the resultant conflict between the increasing temptation to view life as meaningless and God&rsquo;s relentless call to all mankind for transcendence to new life. &nbsp;</p><p>But also addressed in this latest poetry collection from Joseph Mirra is the personal rebellion in the hearts of the Lord&rsquo;s disciples, a rebellion that each Christian is all too familiar with and contends with throughout his or her life.</p><p>The final word, of course, is God&rsquo;s love and mercy.
