It now becomes more generally known that he has a claim to sympathy on other grounds. There is a part of Westmorland outside the Lake District which has an abiding charm and interest of its own. The following chapters deal with that part of Westmorland - the Upper Eden Valley - mainly, but by no means only, from the point of View of the fisherman.<br><br>I can claim no inner knowledge of that perplexing art, and must leave it to the expert to appraise the value of the maxims and suggestions contained in the book.
