<p>This book represents in-depth analysis of a deposit of pottery recovered on the Palatine Hill that is composed of materials used and discarded in the period 290-315 AD. As there are exceedingly few studies concerned with groups of pottery dated to this period, the book represents an important addition to our evidence of the period in question. Unusually large number of complete or nearly complete vessels made experiments with analytical techniques possible. The book includes detailed catalogue and concludes with the remarks on urban economy of the early Dominate.</p>
