13 Days in Africa: A Safari Adventure

When tourists on an African safari are kidnapped by bandits, their lives are forever changed.

For Sarah, an American nurse traumatized by the recent loss of her job, it means accepting her past in order to find the family she always wanted. Her fellow travelers and their two African guides have their own issues: Tom, a white guide, is haunted by the murder of his family by blacks, while his black fellow guide blames white people for ruining his country. The guides lead a safari tour group that includes CJ, a racist who resents the 14-year-old who now questions his very existence; honeymooning Brits; a recovering addict on the mend and the wealthy Englishman who loves her.

The far-flung group is pulled together by circumstance, yet dragged apart by their differences. But when the tourists are ambushed by bandits and left to fend for themselves in Africa’s wild savanna, they form a bond that only comes from facing down death … together.
