In 1995, when Elaine received the LORD Jesus Christ as her Savior, her poetry became a prominent role in her life. Facing many challenges in her adult life, she would find solace in God's Word and spending time in prayer. When in her quiet place with GOD, she would be inspired to write down words that came to her, and they would comfort and help her through these trials. Writing poetry and songs become a way that God and she communicated.
