Counseling in clinical practice refers to a therapeutic process in which a trained mental health professional, such as a Counselor, Psychotherapist, Psychologist, or Therapist, works with individuals to address emotional, psychological and behavioral issues. The primary goal of Counselling is to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, develop coping strategies and work towards positive change and self empowerment and growth.
