<p>Satellites Programme is Collective&rsquo;s development programme for emergent artists, curators, writers and producers based in Scotland. It has been adapted from the long-established New Work Scotland Programme to respond to the changing needs of emergent artists in Scotland and to reflect Collective&rsquo;s growth as an organisation. In 2014 the opportunity included two six-month internships for research-based projects and five opportunities for artists.</p>

<p>Chosen through an open submission process, this year&rsquo;s artists and interns were selected by a panel that consisted of: Devrim Bayar (curator Weils, Brussels), Simon Martin (artist), Mick Peter (artist) and chaired by Collective&rsquo;s Director, Kate Gray. The selected artists were Catrin Jeans, Kathryn Elkin, Marie-Michelle Duchamps, Matthew Richardson and Colette Rayner. The Curatorial intern was Dane Sutherland, and the Critical Discourse intern was Laura Yuile, who has edited this publication.</p>
