The exercises are usually held in the cemetery, and the veterans are seated on the platform with the speakers.<br><br>I wish to stress the banquet on Lee's birthday, and I would suggest that 'our Grand Commander write to the President General, U. 'd. C., and suggest to her that she request the various Chapters to celebrate January 19, '1926, by giving a banquet to the Confederate veterans in their community, and, where they are not organized, to organize a Camp.
