Over the years, I have seen more than a thousand football matches at locations across Britain and Europe, from grounds that were little more than park pitches to some of the world's best stadia.

This volume details my initial visit to the first hundred of these grounds, with background information about the home club in each case.

The visits cover the period from the early 1960s to almost the turn of the Millennium, as I have relished being a spectator at the wonderful game.
