Hurting moments are vulnerable moments; which explains why many people don't think things through before they react. Negative emotions such as anger, malice, bitterness, resentment, revenge etc are common reactions when one is hurting. But as God's children, we are not called to respond that way. There are better ways to respond to hurt according to God's design; and that's the essence of this book.
It explains some causes of hurt, the symptoms of a hurting life, the wrong ways to handle hurting moments, and also how to choose godly response to hurt.
