<p>This book considers the practicalities of a large-scale military building project, primarily the quantities of materials required and how they might have been supplied, and the amount of labour involved.The main concern has been to establish a method for estimating the quantities of those building materials. This has been achieved through a detailed examination of the legionary fortress at Inchtuthil.</p>
