While caring for her terminally-ill Aunt Louise, Nori McFarlane stumbles on a mystery related to her aunt's medical fellowship at a tuberculosis sanitorium in the Adirondacks in the 1950s. The discovery of her aunt's journal and conversations they have together lead Nori further into the mystery.
